The Most-Anticipated Announcement is Out: QNet-ACL Goal of the Season Contest 2010 Winners!

Thrilling wins. Heart-pumping close calls. Agonising losses. The action on the football field has never been so adrenaline-fueled as it was in the 2010 season of the AFC Champions League (ACL)!

And the excitement on the field was made even more potent with QNet’s sensational Goal of the Month contests, where participants stood a chance to win amazing prizes every playing month just by voting for what they thought was the best goal and writing about their favourite QNet product. The exhilaration reached its peak with the contest finale: the QNet-ACL Goal of the Season 2010, with the grand prize being a 5-day, 4-night stay for two at Prana Resorts & Spa in Koh Samui, Thailand (including airfare) and an official AFC Champions League ball!

There were so many fabulous goals during the season that the Football Asia team had a difficult time choosing the best goal. After much deliberation and consultation, the Football Asia team finally selected Goal of the Month #4, scored by midfielder Alejandro Molina Uribe (Seongnam Ilhwa FC) in a match played in Tancheon Sports Complex on 11 May 2010 between Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma (KOR) v Gamba Osaka (JPN) as the winning Goal of the Season! The Football Asia team felt the goal was “a fine reflection of their triumphant march to glory in this year’s ACL, where Molina was an undoubted driving force.”

With the Goal of the Season decided upon, QNet could now crown the winners of the Goal of the Season grand finale contest! These three winners chose the correct best goal and wrote thoughtful, well-written answers about their favourite QNet product.

“The Rowan Set from the Umayal Collection really interests me, as I already got the Sylvan Set from QNet before and I like it so much! I adore silver sets, especially the ones from the Umayal Collection, as they are designed with such elegance.
