From a Doctor of Pathology to a leader changing lives, Associate V Partner Yashu Tyagi now empowers others to achieve their dreams. When AVP Yashu first joined QNET in 2012, she faced a lot of adversities and rejection from family and friends.
Six years later, she now shines like a star. We spoke with AVP Yashu Tyagi to find out what made her the empowered woman she is today.
You are one of the biggest driving forces of QNET. Can you tell us how you started to build your network?
When I first attempted to become an entrepreneur with QNET, I was doubtful I could pull it off, but everything changed after attending my first V-Convention. It was then that I realised my potential and the potential of this business. The reality was that whatever I was doing could not take me to where I wanted to be, and what I needed to do – which was provide my family with a life that they deserve. I understood that through QNET, I could provide for my family so much more than I was able to at that time. That very V-Convention, I made the decision to put immense amounts of hard work, commitment and dedication into my organisation, as if this would be the only vehicle which could fulfil my dreams. From that day on, my business and I became my priority.
My journey with QNET so far has been a roller-coaster ride. There have been good days, bad days, happy days, and sometimes sad days, and the reason I could hold on and persevere, was because it was what wanted and I was determined. Today, life has changed for me completely, I achieved my initial goals, and now I only push myself further and higher. I now do what I want to do, not what I have to do.
What were the biggest challenges you have faced as an entrepreneur?
The biggest setback for me was the reactions of my friends whom I thought were my best friends. It started with passing comments about me behind my back, and they advised me to focus on my job and career instead, and later even stopped receiving my phone calls. At first, it was very upsetting for me, but today, looking back, I am thankful to them. They fuelled my determination, and I decided to be successful in the business, come what may. I thank the Almighty God, for giving me the opportunity and a beautiful platform, that not only changed my life but the lives of many others like me. I also thank the people who empowered me. I could only walk this path by holding the hands of my mentors and uplines, who were there each and every step of my journey standing by me. Because of their guidance, I was able to do it.
Were there any setbacks in your journey being a woman?
I believe women have the same potential as men or even more, but sometimes women struggle because of their own low self-esteem or indecisive nature. Every woman should realise that once they put their mind to it, they can move mountains, even conquer Mount Everest, and that’s a proven fact. You must believe in yourself and your dreams by encouraging your initiatives.
Above all, women are blessed with many qualities, like being natural-born networkers and multi-taskers; we are mothers, daughters and wives, and even businesswomen. Women have to believe in themselves, that they can do whatever they want to do, rather than limiting themselves. The bolder push ourselves to be, the better we are.
Why do you think QNET is a perfect fit for women worldwide?
QNET helps you better your own life first, which then allows you to better the life of your whole family. Here, women can find and build their own identity, learn to think bigger, dream higher, and are trained to strive to be the best they can be. QNET and direct selling empower women, which ultimately leads them to financial stability and also teaches them to uplift the society in which they live. I believe I made the best decision by joining QNET because it did not only improve my financial status but also made me stronger and wiser.
What is your advice to all other women starting out in this business?
Understand that being a direct seller requires a drastic shift in your mindset and lifestyle.
Everything is achievable through QNET, if you are willing to put in the hard work, and if you spend enough time with mentors and uplines, whether at training or informational meetings. It is always so much you can learn from them, from their knowledge and experience, which will help you grow your business.
Setting priorities and putting goals in place makes this journey more meaningful. Let’s help others rise by pulling them up and working with a purpose.
