Our homes should be our sanctuaries, but with rising pollution levels and concerns about indoor air quality, it’s easy to feel uneasy about the air we breathe. The HomePure Zayn is a powerful ally in the fight for clean air, tackling everything from everyday allergens to harmful VOCs which play a major role in the depletion of our planet’s protective ozone layer.

But just like any superhero, even the HomePure Zayn needs a little TLC (tender loving care) to stay at peak performance. That’s where you come in! To ensure it stays effective at keeping your indoor air fresh and clean, there are four main things you need to keep in mind.

Think of these steps as your HomePure Zayn’s regular check-up. A little maintenance goes a long way in ensuring it continues to fight the good fight against indoor air pollution.

Your Quick & Easy HomePure Zayn Maintenance Guide

1. Changing the HPP+ Filter Cartridge

This is HomePure Zayn’s heart and soul! The HPP+ Filter is a powerhouse, trapping microscopic particles, allergens, and even viruses. When the LED light blinks red, it’s time for a swap. Remember that your HPP+ Filter cartridge needs to be replaced every six months. You’ll need a cloth or a vacuum, and a bag to dispose of the old filter.

  • Switch off and unplug your HomePure Zayn.
  • Gently pull the top section away from the bottom.
  • Remove the old HPP+ Filter cartridge and keep it in a sealed package for proper disposal.
  • While you’re in there, use a cloth or vacuum to gently clean the pre-filter.
  • Place the new HPP+ Filter cartridge in the bottom section with the white mesh facing down.
  • Re-attach the top section, aligning the ribs and ensuring the machine is centred on the base. The magnets will secure it.
  • Plug the HomePure Zayn back in, turn it on, and press the ON/OFF button to switch to AUTO Mode.
  • Press and hold the AUTO button for 3+ seconds to reset the filter timer. The red LED light should disappear.

2. Changing the Prefilter

This is the HomePure Zayn’s first line of defence, catching larger particles like dust and pet hair. Over time, it can get clogged, so give it a gentle vacuum or wipe it with a cloth every few months. Follow these steps if it’s damaged. Just gather a cloth or a vacuum, and a bag to dispose of the old filter.

  • Switch off and unplug your HomePure Zayn.
  • Gently pull the top section away from the bottom.
  • Remove the HPP+ Filter cartridge and turn the bottom section upside down.
  • Push the hooks to disassemble the Prefilter from the lock holes.
  • Remove the old Prefilter and dispose of it properly.
  • Place the new Prefilter into the lock holes and push the hooks in firmly until they lock.
  • Reassemble the top and bottom sections, ensuring the ribs are aligned and the machine is centred.
  • Plug the HomePure Zayn back in and turn it on.

3. Changing the Top Panel

If your touchscreen is acting up, don’t panic! It might just be the top panel. A new top panel might be the solution. Just grab a flat-head screwdriver, and let’s go! It’ll be just like giving the HomePure Zayn a little facelift!

  • Switch off and unplug your HomePure Zayn.
  • Insert the screwdriver into each of the four hook holes around the top panel and unlock it.
  • Lift out the old Top Panel.
  • Align the new Top Panel’s hooks with the lock holes using the rib guide mark on the top right.
  • Push the hooks in firmly until they lock.
  • Plug Zayn back in and turn it on.

4. Cleaning the Dust Sensor

Is the air quality indicator light glowing red? That means the dust sensor needs a little attention. You’ll need a paper clip and a cotton swab.

  • Switch off and unplug your Homepure Zayn.
  • Insert the paper clip into the dust cover slot to open it.
  • Remove the cover and gently clean the Dust Sensor with the cotton swab.
  • Replace the cover and push it firmly to close.
  • Plug Zayn back in and turn it on.
