CARE GUIDE

Keep your HomePure Nova working at its best with these simple step-by-step guides.

INSTALLATION

How to Set-Up Your HomePure Nova

The HomePure Nova delivers clean, great-tasting water for drinking and everyday use. It works entirely without electricity, making installation quick and hassle-free. Follow this simple guide to get started.

What you need:

REPLACEMENT

Replacing Spare Parts

Even durable components wear out. Replacing them in ensures clean water, safe operation, and long-term performance. It’s quick and simple!

Changing the Filter Cartridge

The filter cartridge is designed for about 5,000 litres or a year of regular use. Change it once you reach either limit or when the indicator tells you it’s time.

Installing New Batteries

HomePure Nova runs on batteries, so you don’t need a power outlet. Swap them once a year or whenever you change the filter.

Replacing the LED Indicator

The LED indicator lets you know when the filter needs replacing or when the system requires attention. If it stops lighting up or behaves abnormally, replace it.

Replacing the One-Touch Elbow Fitting

The one-touch elbow fitting connects the inlet tube to the unit. Replace it if you notice leaks or if the tube no longer locks securely.

Securing the Seal with an O-Ring Replacement

The O-ring ensures a watertight seal inside the unit. Replace it if you see leaks, cracks, or if the seal feels loose or worn.

Restoring the Flexible Pipe

The flexible pipe directs purified water from the unit. Replace it if it becomes cracked, stiff, or leaks.

Replacing the Connecting Hose

The connecting hose supplies water to the unit. Replace it if it becomes worn, discoloured, or starts leaking.

Changing the Cartridge Valve

The cartridge valve controls water flow inside the unit. Replace it if it becomes stuck, leaks, or affects filtration performance.

Replacing Knob Set

The knob set controls basic user adjustments. Replace it if it becomes loose, cracked, or difficult to turn.

Swapping the One-Filter Case

The filter case protects the cartridge and ensures proper water flow. Replace it if it becomes cracked, warped, or difficult to seal.

Upgrading the Head Nozzle

The head nozzle guides the final water output. Replace or upgrade it if the flow becomes uneven, weak, or the nozzle shows signs of wear.

Renewing the Head Adapter Set

The head adapter set connects the filter cartridge to the unit. Replace it if it becomes loose, worn, or no longer locks the cartridge securely.

Installing the Retainer Ring

The retainer ring locks the filter cartridge and head adapter securely in place. Replace or reinstall it if it becomes loose, worn, or damaged.

Changing the Silicone Cap

The silicone cap protects the reset button and prevents moisture from entering the unit. Replace it if it becomes loose, torn, or worn out.

Installing an Adapter Valve

The adapter valve connects your water source to the unit. Replace or install it when upgrading, fixing leaks, or improving compatibility.

Replacing the Diverter Valve

The diverter valve controls whether water flows to the unit or stays at the faucet. Replace it if it becomes stiff, leaks, or no longer switches smoothly.

Swapping the Installation Hose

The installation hose delivers water from your faucet or adapter valve to the unit. Replace it if it becomes worn, stiff, or leaks.

CARE

How should I know it's time to replace parts of my HomePure Nova?

A few simple signs tell you it’s time.
QNET

LED alerts

Yellow or red LED signals, or no light at all, can indicate that the filter, batteries, or the LED PCB need attention.

QNET

Reduced flow

A noticeably weaker water stream often points to filter, hose, or O-ring issues.

QNET

Drips or leaks

Moisture around joints, the base, or the elbow fitting usually means it’s time to inspect hoses, O-rings, or valves.
