QNET’s Parent Company Now a Proud Member of the UNGC

We are ecstatic to announce that the QI Group of Companies, the parent company of QNET, is now a proud member of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) Network – the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.

As part of the opening ceremony of the 2015 International CSR Summit on 25 August 2015 in Singapore, the QI Group of Companies was introduced as one of the latest signatory organisations of the UNGC.

Joseph Bismark, Group Managing Director of the QI Group of Companies accepted the certificate from Ms Ursula Wynhoven, General Counsel, Chief, Governance and Social Sustainability.

“Being a registered member of the UNGC is a privilege. It aligns The QI Group’s commitments with the UNGC’s aims of improving its performance in areas including human rights, labour rights, the environment and anti-corruption. This in turn increases transparency and accountability which are valuable to our focus of good corporate governance overall. This tie-up also provides an excellent function to bind us with other stakeholders at an international level, other than creating principles and goals for us all to achieve.” said Joseph Bismark.

The QI Group of Companies is now listed on the UNGC Website on which our Letter of Commitment signed by Joseph Bismark himself is also posted.
